Thinkology to Thrive

The Thinkology® Coach | Children's Mindset and Emotional Well-Being Coach

What is Thinkology® and how can it help my child and I thrive?

My journey into learning all about mindset, how the mind works and how we each can focus and train our mind started when I trained as a hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and coach.

I saw women change dramatically and heal from old wounds and stories that they told themselves.

I too was changed. I was fascinated to discover all the changes that I could make to my mindset, my beliefs and to my day-to-day life.  I noticed and unpacked some old beliefs that just weren’t true for me anymore and it set me on the path to helping others.

Then one of my lovely teachers told me to read a book by the Scottish welder Sydney Banks.  His understanding blew my mind.  Everything comes from thought.  It was so simple.

How did I not know this already?

Over the next few months, I dove deeper into three principles work (pioneered by Sydney Banks) and learned all about this ‘inside out’ understanding.

I had felt broken for a while, my anxiety was triggered every time I went to school and had to deal with other parents who just didn’t understand what challenges came along with Autism and it bothered me so much that people just were not kind about my beautiful, sweet, challenging children.

This, along with a lack of sleep and the overwhelm of parenting 2 additional needs children and the lack of support and service had taken its toll on my emotional wellbeing. However, as I began to implement these new teachings, my mind became less anxious, and the actions of others no longer bothered me.  I felt a new sense of calm and peace from within.

I did many training courses on the three principles and trained as a spark facilitator.  This programme helped me to work with children in a school setting. I loved this work, helping groups of children to uncover their well-being, reduce anxiety and stress, and build confidence and self-esteem.

I had found my passion and began working only with children from this point onwards.

I love the simplicity of the three principles understanding, however, I found that I was also drawn to somatic (Body) work.  I could see that we thought things with our mind and that we felt things with our body.  The next layer of helping my clients was revealing itself to me.

All this learning has become the basis for Thinkology® and the main point is that if you can think better, then you will feel better.

My Thinkology® lessons begin with a basic introduction to thought and focuses on YOUR own specific thinking.

Then I look at how your thinking creates your experience of the world, and how you can change that too.

Lastly, I look at how other people’s thinking, perspectives and views of the world are influenced and how you can use this to gain a better understanding of the people in your life.

Self-awareness is the key foundation of all my teaching.

This naturally occurs when you learn Thinkology®.

When you understand yourself better then you no longer fall into negative patterns repeatedly, you gain clarity on how you are creating the anxiety, or the stress and you find better ways to manage it or deal with it.  For children, the lessons are fun and interactive, they learn to understand themselves much better, they become happier and grow in confidence.  They are less bothered by what others say and think and do.  They become focused on their own well-being and gain an understanding that they will use throughout their whole lives.

Alongside all the learning about your thoughts and thinking are breathing, tapping and body release exercises. This is the somatic work that helps to manage stress levels, reduce anxiety, and help you to feel more relaxed.

Then you're off into the world with the knowledge and understanding about both your mind and your body, how they are connected and how to manage both to keep you in a state of well-being every day.

The children and parents that I work with realise that their well-being is in their hands and they begin to thrive as a result of this.
